    Good honest people ..... a pleasure to deal with

    Made a round trip of 400 miles to purchase my car from Hollins Hill Cars. The car was immaculate, well presented and exactly as described to me over the phone. There was absolutely no pressure attached to my purchase and I was allowed a lengthy unaccompanied trial before making my final decision. It was a pleasure to do business with such an honest and decent car dealer.

    FIRST RATE SERVICE

    I was looking for a very specific vehicle and telephoned on several occasions to Dan and Colin, who were at all times fantastically helpful and very proactive about my situation. It was clear that they are not the run of the mill typical car sales people and if you've had similar experience to me recently you will know what I mean. In the end I opted to buy another vehicle but it was with sadness given their best efforts. Do give them a go, because when we change our other car, we certainly will! Thank you guys for restoring my faith in the car buying experience.

    Great Service, aftercare and Family friendly team.

    We purchased a Ford Focus Estate from HHC and right from the outset of my initial contact by telephone and expressing an interest in the vehicle Dan was helpful. I commented we had just missed out on a purchase as we couldn't get to see the vehicle quickly enough. After just a few minutes I received a text from him asking if we would like them to take the care off the market for us for a few days!! Who would do this without a deposit?? HHC did. We were travelling about 40 miles to get to see the vehicle and it was a long drive with a small child. We were greeted by Dan and left to just get on with taking the vehicle out etc.... No pressure, no heavy sales (I hate that) just friendly service. We went to see the car a few days later and loved it. We picked it up a few days later. I'm no expert in cars as HHC now know, funny story with the audio system and a button and a long drive to get back there for nothing! Thanks guys, great service.

    Couldn't have been Easier

    Would like to say a big thank you for the way Richard made the transaction so easy and pleasant. From start to finish no pressure I was left to browse in my own time and when ready he was very knowledgeable about the car. Sale completed in 24 hours, car was immaculate as were all the others on the forecourt, will certainly recommend you and will return there for my next car. A 1st class A1111111 deal, thanks again.

    Great start but no help when you need them.

    Great experience when buying Dan doesn't pressure you and allows you time to make your descision. Only had the car 3 months however and broken down twice. During one particular time on way to visit Santa with two young children the engine packed in. As it was stressful and had two very upset young children we called the RAC who towed me to the nearest garage to fix. As this was an extremley stressful situation it didn't occur to me to ring Hollins hill. I spoke to Hollins hill and as I hadn't used them they would only cover 40% of the cost even though the car was under warranty. I sadly think its a case of great service at point of sale but if something goes wong they will throw and quote every rule, regulation and excuse at you not to pay the full amount. Overall good service to begin with but just don't expect any empathy or understanding if something goeas wrong business is business to them.

As mentioned in our email conversation I'm very sorry that you'd had a couple of issues with the car in the past, but it is worthy of mention that this morning was the first time you'd made us aware of this, should we have known before it would have afforded us the opportunity to book you in to the garage to diagnose the car accordingly, and of course stand the cost of any repair work. As you rightly mention both in your review and your email you did not afford us an opportunity to look at the car that you bought from us, opting instead to take it to a garage only 2 miles down the road from our location. As such we were only prepared to pay what the repairs would have cost us, this is not unreasonable. We pride ourselves on our customer service, both at point of sale and afterwards, I just wish you gave us the chance to prove how good we are. Cheers, Dan Jones
